Krzysztof Nowakowski is a Managing Director od Korn Ferry, since 2001 leading the Warsaw office. He is member of Financial Services, Technology and Digital practices. He is also part of our European Financial Officers Centre of Excellence covering the CEE region. He specializesin C- level recruitment for clients in financial services, private equity, telecommunications and media, with additional focus on digital transformation, financial management and risk. He is an expoert in the field of change management, cultural and digital transformation as well as organizational development.

In 30 years of proffesional activity he has developed considerable expertise in management consulting, corporate finance and government affairs and worked across a wide range of industry sectors in Poland and CEE. Before joining Kern Ferry, Mr. Nowakowski worked as a Director with BNP Paribas’s corporate finance team in Warsaw, and as a Managament Consultant with Booz Allen & Hamilton.

He worked and managed assignments with Fortune 500 companies, international financial institutions and governmental agencies. He also led a number of pioneering infrastructure and public utilities development projects in a public-private partnership. In the early 90’ Mr. Nowakowski was privileged to take part in the democratic reforms in Poland. He was government and parliament Assistant to the Minister in charge of local government reform. Subsequently, a Manager and Advisor to a number of international programs aimed at support of civic infrastructure development in Poland and a Program Director in governmental agency managing European Union aid funs, where he run projects of restructuring and privatization.

Mr. Nowakowski is a Member of the Board of the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw and for six years served as a President of the Society of Friends of the Museum of Modern Art.

Mr. Nowakowski holds a Master’s Degree in Philosophy from the University of Warsaw. He earned an MBA from the Carslon School of Business at the University of Minnesota and the Warsaw Schoold of Economics. He also holds andExecutiveMaster in Consulting and Coaching for Change from the INSEAD business school.
